We minimize data collection to what is strictly necessary for the app's functionality. This includes:

• Video & Image Data: Videos of exercises and images of food or tongue/face scans ("User Content") that you voluntarily capture or upload.
• Biometric Indicators (VitaLens): When using the tongue scanner, we process visual data regarding tongue color, coating, and shape to generate wellness insights. We do not use this data for facial recognition or identity verification.
• Account Information: Basic contact details (Email, Name) for account management and subscription billing.
• Device Usage Data: Anonymous logs regarding app performance, crash reports, and feature usage.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to deliver the GymSym experience:

• AI Analysis: Processing videos to provide skeletal tracking (Form Correction) and texture analysis (Tongue Scan).
• Nutritional Estimates: analyzing food images to estimate calorie and macronutrient content.
• Service Improvement: Using anonymized, aggregated data to refine our machine learning models (e.g., teaching the AI to better recognize a specific yoga pose).

3. Health Data Privacy (VitaLens)

Important: Data collected via the "VitaLens" feature is treated as sensitive health data. This data is processed locally or on secure, encrypted servers solely for the purpose of providing wellness feedback. It is never sold to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention

We do not permanently store your raw video files unless you explicitly opt-in to a "History" or "Journal" feature. Typically, video data is processed in real-time or near real-time and then deleted from our processing servers. Metadata (e.g., "Squat Score: 85%") is stored securely to track your progress over time.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We may share anonymized data with trusted infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting services) who assist us in operating our app, so long as those parties agree to strict confidentiality agreements.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the app settings ("Delete Account") or by contacting support.

7. App Permissions

To function correctly, the GymSym app requires specific device permissions:

• Camera: Strictly required to capture video for exercise analysis, food scanning, and tongue health checks.
• Microphone (Audio): Required if you wish to include voice notes with your workout logs.
• Photo Library: Required if you choose to import pre-recorded videos for analysis.
• Location (Optional): We may request coarse location to suggest local gyms or running routes. You may deny this permission without affecting the core AI features.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Your continued use of GymSym after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment of the modified policy.
